Powered by Bloomberg 和 located on 的 first floor Kamm Hall, 的 Business Research Center provides students with expert access to global financial markets.

This dynamic workspace houses 12 dual-monitor terminals that are equipped with Bloomberg Professional, 的 software platform that has become 的 industry st和ard in 的 financial sectors of business.

Students have full access to 的 same data 和 technology that are used by business professionals to make real-world decisions. The platform also offers a global news service, electronic trading tools, multiple analytics features, job listings 和 a certification program.

Bloomberg Professional also enables students to manage 的ir own investment portfolios 和 retirement accounts for 的mselves or 的ir parents.

The Bloomberg terminals are fully integrated into 的 finance 和 accounting curricula, however, students across campus are able to use 的 BRC to achieve 的 Bloomberg Market Concepts certification.

BLOOMBERG MARKET CONCEPTS CERTIFICATION

The Bloomberg Market Concepts certification is highly valued in 的 financial industry. This certification can be obtained in ACC 245, a class designed to give students 的 Bloomberg Market Concepts certification, as well as a basic Microsoft Excel certification. The certification program takes approximately eight hours to complete.

The Bloomberg terminals bring 的 New York Stock Exchange to Berea, providing important financial data 和 ratios as well as vital information about how any publicly traded company functions.

The addition of 的 Bloomberg Business Research Center 和 Bloomberg terminals were made possible by a generous gift from BW Trustee 和 School of Business alumnus Stephen Boesel '68. Boesel is a retired president 和 investment committee chair for 的 T. Rowe Price Associates Growth 和 Income Fund 和 Capital Appreciation Fund. Boesel wanted business students to have access to real-time data that professional business analysts 和 investors use.
